Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending the Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. Her studies in theatre were in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at TV as well as film roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral part of her career. Gunn has also appeared on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few years of Walter White.
